Gary Serviss is a Principal Scientist with 41 years of Florida experience. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Biology and a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Florida Institute of Technology. He worked 6+ years in the public sector, including two years with FDEP’s Southwest District and 4 years at Sarasota County. He has been a consultant for 35 years with VHB, helping his clients solve complex environmental issues. Gary is the Southeast Region Environmental Services Leader, working primarily in Central and Southwest Florida. He has managed several water quality, discharge, and storm event water quality monitoring projects for the private sector, utilities, local government and the water management districts
